Third level: 3 questions each of 50 marks (hard)

  1. Audition Round will strictly be a single entry event. The contestant will choose a genre (Classical, Bollywood, Hip-Hop, Pop, Contemporary) from which a random track will be played on spot.
  2. The event will be conducted in two rounds i.e. prelims and finals for which tracks are to be arranged by the contestants themselves.
  3. The event is strictly a solo dance competition and there shouldn’t be any extra person on stage at any point during the performance.
  4. Any dance form is allowed. (EXCEPT STREET DANCE).
  5. In prelims, participant has to dance for 2-3 min (maximum) for which music will be played on the spot.
  6. In the finals, the participant has to dance for 5-6 min (maximum) (tracks to be submitted by the participant).
  7. Judging Criteria:
    1. Stage presentation
    2. Costumes/props
  8. The performance music has to be brought by the participants in PEN DRIVE ONLY. It is advised that they must have a back-up in a Pen Drive. If song does not play due to Pen Drive not working, the organizers will not be responsible for the same. Any other mode of media storage (ex CDs, Phone, and Bluetooth etc.) will not be entertained in any scenario.
  9. Mixing of tracks is allowed and use of props will be appreciated.
  10. Accessories, costumes and any kind of props have to be arranged by participants.

  • On the basis of his/her observation he will narrate the scene and clues to the other partner.
  • The other partner will have to give a quiz on the crime scene based on the clues told by his partner.
  • Having the maximum number of rights answers will qualify the team for the next round.
Round 2: 
  • The teams shortlisted will be send to the crime scene again and they will investigate the scenario and make a story.
  • The story closest to the scene will be the winner.

  • Knowledge about the topic.

Rules:
  1. In the prelims, participants have to express their views on a particular topic in a political context.
  2. Top 15 participants from prelims, will take part in a parliamentary style group discussion wherein they will give their views, representing various parties.
  3. The parties will be made according to the chit system.
  4. Elimination from second round will take place by an anonymous voting round, wherein each member has to vote out one party.
  5. The two parties with maximum votes will stand in the elimination zone from where one will get a wild card entry on the basis of marks achieved by the party.

  6. The minimum number of participants per team is 5 (+1). There should be 1 person solely in charge of providing lighting and sound cues and must be present in the control room with sound and light organizer.

One liner: Consumer Electronics and Telecommunication Quiz.
Category: 2 members
Time: 60 minutes
Rules:
ROUND 1: It is a written round in which the questionnaire consists of 40 multiple type and one word type questions to be solved within the time span of 30 minutes. Only 6 teams with the highest score will go through the next round. In case of a tie, teams with more accurate answers in one word answers will go through.
ROUND 2: The shortlisted teams will sit through a buzzer type round, wherein different types of questions will be put up from various categories like smart phones, tablets,computers, gaming, companies, telecommunication, etc. This round will contain audio/video, logo, guess the CEO, as well as normal questions. Team with the fastest hand on the buzzer, will get to answer the question. After 30 minutes the 2 teams with the highest score will go the rapid-fire round. In case of dispute, tems will again be judged on the basis of their accurate answer.
Mark ratio: correct answer =+20
Passed answer=+10
Wrong answer= -5
ROUND 3: The 2 teams will be put through a series of rapid-fire questions fired at them with a time of 3 minutes per team. The team answering the maximum number of questions at the end of 3 minutes will be the winner. In case of a tie, 1 more question will be put up in a buzzer type round, and the winner takes all.

Just-A-Minute (or JAM) is an all round-fun event that is all about the control of the mind over the mouth. Can you make it through sixty seconds of non-stop talking without hesitation, repetition, or deviation? Or will the sheer pressure make you crumble and have your competitors pounce on you in an instant?
Rules:
  1. The JAM master is god. No questions or arguments once the final decision has been made
  2. To object, slam the table and say “JAM”. The JAM master decides when you are allowed to put forth your objection
  3. You get a penalty if the competition objects on any of the following counts:
    1. You object out of turn
    2. You stutter, stammer, and generally indulge in “time-wasting tactics”. These include efforts to buy time like interspersing your talk with “uhh”, “aah” etc...
    3. Early start and late start
    4. Speaking too fast or too slow
    5. Grammatical errors
    6. Undue stress on words, undue emphasis in the sentences
    7. Repetition of a previously used idea
    8. Not following the “random rules” as set by the JAM master. For example, the most popular random rule was “Praise Guntas before objecting”. If you forget to do so or the JAM master thinks that the praise was not good enough, you will not be allowed to object and lose points for an incorrect/bad objection
  4. The total time is sixty seconds, inclusive of all the time that all the speakers in a given round are allowed to speak
  5. Points are given in the following manner:
    1. Positive points for every second that you speak
    2. Positive points for every correct objection
    3. Negative points for every incorrect objection
    4. Bonus points for being the last speaker
  6. The winner is the person with the maximum number of points at the end of the round.

  3. The selection of the bands will be based on vocal skills, instrumental power, band co-ordination and most importantly the overall feel of the musical performance.
  4. Selected bands will be informed through mail before 10 days of the event.
  5. Bands are required to bring their own equipment. However, standard drum kit will be provided.
  6. on stage time for bands: 18min (inclusive of sound check and performance)
  7. Bands can have a maximum of 8 members and no member can be a part of more than one bands.
  8. All songs have to be in Hindi or English only.
  9. Final decision in case of any dispute lies in the hands of the organizers and judges and all participants will be bonded to the decision.

  5. Prior to the finale round, selected students will be divided into groups of equal size by the organizers.
Finale Round:

  3. Backing tracks are allowed and are to be arranged by the participants as well as verified and submitted to sound in charge before 2 days of the event.
  4. Dancing is strictly PROHIBITED.
